WHO WE ARE
Since 2015, Worldrook has operated as an art collective of performers, storytellers, artists, musicians, sculptors, and designers who have come together to create unforgettable worlds in Portland and across the Northwest. Subversive and interactive games through walkthrough spaces, transportive events, strange, exploratory venues, and traveling performance, each catering to different ages and imaginations. We seek to provide year-round indoor and outdoor public experiences that provide both one-day enjoyment and can also reveal deeper narratives upon return visits for those that seek it. It is our hope that every creation is an unforgettable, meaningful and thought-provoking escape for everyone that decides to travel through our dimensions with us.
OUR Vision
We look forward to a future where we can feel like our team has a central hub; both for our staff and fabricators to work in, and eventually our guests, who could rely on one location for attending most of our local events. This development would reduce a tremendous amount of pressure on our creators, and help everyone by creating a strong sense of structure to strengthen our work and allow it to become bigger, better, and weirder. Currently, we jump venue-to-venue depending on how the project suits the individual venue needs, and have our materials for each event spread across the city for storage. In our city's weather, this can mean hours and days of setback, transporting gear, waiting for good weather to build, etc. Having a guaranteed covered space to work in would completely change our turnaround as well as our final presentations to better suit the community.

One day we hope we can bring the wilder dreams we have for the future to light with the help of our community, and successfully provide unique adventures at an entirely new caliber. Our Mission
Our mission is to bring the joy of the unexpected and unusual to the world of the mundane. We thrive on transporting guests to places of adventure, wonderment, and excitement with the idea that escapism can still have a message. By way of ARGs, interactivity on site, and inspiring the curiosity to dig beneath the surface, we aim to create the philosopher's theme park.
Our goal is to transport guests to another time, another place, perhaps one that has never yet existed. For a moment, everyone can be removed from the real world to experience a variant universe where they can recharge and be ready for re-entry into the 9-to-5, while comfortably looking at new ways to think about the current world as they go forward.
